I believe X64 is the future and hope Microsoft concentrates more on the system. Works as it is but can become tomorrows standard. Software is slowly going that way and hardware manufacturers too so x64 is here to stay and get better. Greetings from Milan Italy, it's getting COLD!

Personally, I'd argue all are better than Norton. I use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i on my work machine, and it works fine, however, it is not free. Your problem seems to be with vendors of computer software being slow to support 64-bit Windows operating systems. Same goes for OEM's and hardware support.
